Lots of basil this summer! Pesto.
Fresh basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and parmesan cheese.
Throw everything together in the food processor.
And...it's done!
It could not be easier. (This is an estate sale find, art deco glass dish with silverplate lid).
Pesto freezes very nicely. Perfect on pizza's, sandwiches, bruschetta, pasta...

We love our pesto and plant loads of basil -- to use with tomatoes as well as to make into pesto! And yes, it is so simple!
