Welcome to my first giveaway! I am offering this Vintage Sheffield England Silverplate Tomato Server.
I love round servers. The Victorians used these round servers in different sizes, for tomatoes, cucumbers, nuts, bonbons, buckwheat, waffles and more! They had a specific utensil for everything.
This one is about 8 1/4" long, and would traditionally be used for tomatoes, but hey, use it for whatever you want!
To enter, just leave a comment. For an extra chance to win, become a follower (or if you are already are a follower).
I will randomly draw the winner on Saturday 2/6/10.
This giveaway is only available to ship within the US - sorry everyone else!!!

I have a bit of weakness for unusual or 'specialty' silverware and utensils. It's nothing formal, but I just happen to love certain little things I use in my kitchen. This would be an awesome addition to my informal collection! :)

so many of us love vintage kitchen utensils!!!!
ReplyDelete{and antique shops, flea markets, estate sales, etc!!} Just yesterday, I found a cheese/vegetable grater at an estate sale, and I couldn't pass it up, even though I have more than I'll ever need!!!
So that is what that spoon is for. I had one of those and I've got it stuck away somewhere. Now I know what to use it for.
ReplyDeleteI've become a new follower....so glad I found you,
