I picked up this old postcard at a flea market, I thought it was funny.
The note starts off "nothing doing on the west side of Cusson PA". I can't quite make out the next line.
It is postmarked 1909.
For those of you who collect old postcards - do you look for ones that are used or blank ones?? I've wondered about that. I personally like to read the old notes.

I like the messages too, although it's interesting to me how hard the handwriting is to read.
ReplyDeletethe second line says....we will have to play all -of there. i couldn't make out the one word. i like the ones with writing!
ReplyDeleteI look for ones on certain topics and in very good condition.
ReplyDeleteMy Goodness! That is quite unusual subject matter for a postcard! That's really funny.
ReplyDeleteHappy PFF!
I mush prefer used ones, especially if there is a clear date. That is a great card!
ReplyDeleteCould it be "we will have to play all east of there" ?
Cute card! I think I prefer the used card .. so much fun to imagine what their lives were like. Happy PFF
