Christmas is almost here!
This is a buffet with vintage silver glass Christmas trees, and white candles.
A very old, very heavy iron Christmas tree stand.
A manger, also very old. My grandfather made this.
Some of the manger people and animals have seen better days. They have been played with, knocked over by cats, stepped on, but they still look great.
And a little Christmas village.
Merry Christmas!

Love the manger that your grandfather made and what a cool tree stand! Thank you for participating in the Vintage Christmas Monday blog party.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours. A Happy New Year! xo Joan, your hostess
Your buffet look great...I love the vintage trees. And the tree stand. I thought my traditional red and green stand was vintage...we have had it forever. But yours looks REALLY old!!
ReplyDeleteYour nativity is beautiful. Grandfather was very talented! We had one that was totally mutilated by the kids. I think they thought it was some sort of primitive dollhouse! I just told Hubby we need to get another one!
Merry Christmas!!

Love the silver trees, they are so pretty! I have never seen a vintage tree stand and that one is very cool. Love that you have the manger made by your grandfather...that kind of 'vintage' is the very best kind.

ReplyDeleteWhat great vintage things you have. I love your vintage tree stand. We hide our ugly plastic one under a tree skirt but just yesterday actually broke because our tree trunk was so thick this year. Also, I'm so in love with the collection of white deer that greet visitors at your door. How fantastic!

Thanks for sharing these vintage items. The tree stand is wonderful. I find it amazing that so much thought was put into the design of functional items years ago. I miss that!
