These are my friendly neighborhood turkeys.
Occasionally I am lucky enough to see one in my yard.
For the most part, they congregate in one family's yard up the hill. This family apparently feeds them. The turkeys have taken over their yard.
I finally remembered to bring my camera with me to take some shots. I just love seeing them wandering around. I wonder if they know how close we are to Thanksgiving?

They look much skinnier when they are scurrying around. I just bought mine today and it felt like it weighed a ton!!
