Each setting has a vintage brown and white linen napkin and napkin ring.
The napkin rings are all antiques, with monograms or names on them - all different.
The plates are brown transferware.
Also all different. With all of the mismatching of plates and napkin rings, the flatware stayed all one pattern - though I typically prefer mismatched monograms and patterns.
Centerpiece is a ceramic pumpkin, surrounded by small candles in fall shapes.
Including turkeys, pears, gourds and small pumpkins. All sitting on an ornate silver tray.
Pewter candle sticks holding corn candles.
The cheese tray. One of the spreaders is a turkey.
A vintage wood cracker tray.
Dessert was a fall apple tart. If you want to see how I made it, click here. It's very easy.
I guess you could call this practice for next week!

I just love this table setting. It is so me!!! There is nothing I like better than mix matched plates and silver. I like how the color scheme and theme of the transferware is so similar and the silver also not matched. And I love those vintage napkins.
ReplyDeleteI covet that silver platter...it's gorgeous and your cheese tray is so enticing. I guess I am rambling on, but there is nothing I don't think is fabulous on your table.
Great job!

If I were to give your table a style, it would be whimsical elegance. I love your collection of napkin rings. The dishes are lovely, and the corn candles made me smile. This is a wonderful table setting.
