There were a few estate sales in my area this past weekend. Our weather is finally getting nicer, so I'm hoping that garage sales will be starting. I always like finding political items, and I found a few this weekend, as well as a few other things...
A business card holder with a brass plaque - United States Congress.
A perpetual brass calendar - souvenir of D.C.
A couple of books - Boys & Girls of the White House, 1909. Long before the Kennedy's but the cover could be John Jr. and Caroline playing on the front lawn.
A set of school flashcards. They have great graphics. And an old toast rack, which makes the perfect holder for the flashcards.
