New Stuff...

There have been tons of estate sales, antique shows and flea markets, so far, this summer.  These are a few thing I've found.  (Some of them will end up in my Etsy shop).
Above is a Presidential Game Board.

From George to Grover.  Made by Meserve Bros, of who I could not find any information on.  The copyright date is 1893.  It's shape is a bit rough, but will be great 4th of July decor.

Also found, some cool silver pieces, and a cute little cherub pincushion.

Tiny little salt dish, with even tinier little salt ladle.

Pewter stamp roll dispenser.

Some silver spoons and ladle.

A sterling handle cake breaker - meant to cut/break delicate cakes such as angel food, so it doesn't get squished when cutting with a knife.  It actually works really well.

Really unusual serving piece.  I think it is a tomato server, but it is much larger than the ones I normally see.  It has lots of engraved flowers and pierced bowl design.

More engraved flowers on the handle.

Tiny individual cream pitcher from Hotel Frankfurter.

Witch salt and pepper shakers (these were found on Etsy).  Chalkware from the 1940's.

This adorable Fairy House was found at an antique shop.

They carried new cement Fairy Houses and accessories.

 Like this little red bike.

 And bridge.

A Greenman Toad House in the garden.

A toad really lives here - I tried to get a picture of him, but he was shy.

Flea Market Garden

When shopping at Flea Markets, Estate Sales and such, I find many items that eventually end up on the back porch or in the garden.  Recently I found this great head.
The head sits on a stand, also found at the Flea Market.

 An Elephant planter.

Love this box, found at one of the big MN Flea Markets a few years ago, and a pig watering can.

Iron tea cart.

Cement Peacock and Family of Ducks.

Elephant watering can next to the Lavender Plant.

And I found this cute little planter at an estate sale just this past weekend.

I haven't decided what to do with it, but I really couldn't pass it by.

Victorian Silver

Over the past few weeks, I've been to a few Antique shows, shops and estate sales.  I found some great stuff!  Lots of Victorian pieces.  All of these pieces will be making there way onto my Etsy site in the next week or so.

Lots of flatware, most of them are monogrammed,

or engraved with names or dates.

The above spoon engraved "Dora".

Fabulous 3 piece set, sugar, creamer and waste bowl.  I think it was a wedding gift given in 1907.

Each piece is engraved Mr. & Mrs Joe. Fink Stanton '07.

One of my favorites.  The rare, hard to find Lettuce Fork - monogrammed with a "C".

Very sweet little piece,

Monogrammed with an "N" and the dates 1872 & 1987.

 Great little brass sundial.

And a brass key hook with a family of horses.

Estate Sales

Some estate sale finds from last weekend....
 An 1800's Fairy Tale book.

It's falling apart but the cover is so great.

 A French salad serving set.

Pretty silver serving pieces, a vegetable spoon and cake knife.

More silver... sugar tongs and a tiny cover dish.

And a monogrammed spooner (spoon holder).
More estate sales coming up this weekend!

Antique Show

There were no good estate sales this weekend, so instead I went to a local antique show.
This is what I came home with.

A 1933 Hunting Trophy vase.  I should have taken a before picture - it was black.  It cleaned up very nicely.

The engraving reads: Inglebrae Hunt 1933 Won by Kings Lea.

Art Nouveau candy dish.

A pair of peacocks.

And as always, a handful of silver serving pieces.
