Junkin' Finds Friday

February has not been a great month for thrifting. Very few estate sales, and the thrift stores have been packed with people and really picked over. But I've still managed to find a few things.

This is a brass paper stand. I'm not sure exactly what it would have been used for - it is very lightweight. Something like sheet music would work well. I love the newsboy cutout design.

Some monogrammed forks.

A cigar box, large brass key and an absinthe spoon.

And a lovely Wizard of Oz book.

The book is quite large, and the graphics and colors are amazing.

  4. I love the monogrammed silverware--you found some great stuff! (I still get mesmerized by the Wizard of Oz too).

  5. It has been pretty bad at the thrifts, but managed to find some really great items. Love the monogrammed forks and that book is really great. Thanks for linking up with Junkin Finds Friday this week! Hugs, Linda

  6. Yes, this month has been slow for thrifting in our area too. I'm certain as the weather starts to warm thing will pick up.
I really like the Wizard of Oz book.:o)
