I went to several estate sales and antique shows this weekend. I found this set of silver goblets.

It came in a nice blue velvet box with silver latches.

It's all in very good condition, both the box and all of the goblets. I can't find a name or maker's mark anywhere.
I'm guessing it may have been a wedding gift in the 50's or 60's? It appears to have never even been used!

I also found this cute little brass alligator clip. It was pretty dirty but cleaned up very nicely with some lemon and salt - I just poured some salt on a slice of lemon and scrubbed. All the dirt and grim came right off.
Wow, good finds. Gotta love estate sales. Well done.
ReplyDeleteNice stuff once again. Any idea how I can get candlewax of some bronze candle sticks?
