Oronoco Gold Rush

This past weekend I went to Oronoco Gold Rush Days. It is an antique show/flea market that takes over the entire town. Oronoco is about an hour south of Minneapolis.
It is a tiny town, and there were vendors tucked into every corner.

Lots of people set up in driveways and front lawns.

I think this is a school. There were vendors set up in the playground, underneath swing sets, everywhere!
The town is very charming.

Lots of pretty glass.

In every color.

Great furniture.

Lovely windows and stained glass.

A tent full of gorgeous chandeliers.

This is a claw foot tub made into a lounge chair. So clever.

And what did I buy?
Well, not much. Unfortunately the prices were more antique show than flea market, but I found a few things.
A children's book, Junk Day on Juniper Street. Great graphics. Love the topic.

A couple of silver flatware pieces.

I also found these 2 spool cabinets. They are handmade. I have wanted an antique spool cabinet forever, but they are way out of my budget.
Some like these. Above left can be found HERE, and above right HERE

But, I will work on these a bit, and make them over.
I'll post pictures when I am through with them.
