Monday Finds, Napkin Rings and more

This week I hit a couple antique stores, thrift stores and an estate sales. I brought home a few things. This pretty frame was only $0.50. The flap on back (which helps it stand) was broken off, but that doesn't bother me. I would rather lean it up against some books.
A pair of pretty, old salt and pepper shakers.
The napkin rings also are old, but I am not sure what they are made out of. Possibly sea shell, or faux bone? With brass on the inside.
More napkin rings. The shorter one has a pretty floral design, and the other, my favorite, engraved with the name, Mame Boland.
A pretty little teapot with G monogram on it. It was filthy when I bought it, here it is all shined up. I actually liked it a little better when it had some tarnish on it, but it was really just too dirty to leave as is.
And I could not pass up this little brass mouse with giant ears.

Linked up to Cottage Charm and Family Inspiration's Junkin' Monday. Stop by to see what amazing things were found!

  2. I love the salt and pepper shakers! Beautiful. Thank you for stopping by junkblossoms. I'm glad to hear that some glass is pinched into shape. This pinch glass pitcher has me stumped.

  4. Neat finds--and I just realized that you like to photograph items out on your deck rail with the outdoors as the background like I do too! I know what you mean about sometimes it's just too dirty and you have to clean it up!
